A few common questions about Microsoft 365, licences, migrations and getting more from what you already have.
Can you migrate us from Google Workspace or another provider?
Yes. We manage migrations from Google Workspace, other Microsoft tenants, on-premise Exchange and various other platforms. We'll plan the migration carefully to minimise disruption and ensure no data is lost in the process.
Do we need Microsoft 365 to work with ISS?
No — we support businesses on various platforms. That said, Microsoft 365 is what we recommend for most of our clients and it's the platform we know best. If you're on something else, we'll be honest about whether it's worth switching.
What licences do we need?
It depends on your team size and what you need. Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard and Premium are the most common for businesses our size. We'll recommend the right licence tier based on what your team actually uses — we won't upsell you to a tier you don't need.
What's the difference between the Business tiers?
Business Basic covers core apps and email via the web. Business Standard adds the full desktop Office apps. Business Premium adds advanced security features — it's what we recommend for most businesses that take security seriously. We'll walk you through the differences and recommend what actually fits your situation.
Can you help us get more out of Microsoft 365 we already have?
Absolutely — this is one of the most common conversations we have. Most businesses are using a fraction of what their licences include. Whether it's Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot or Power Automate, we can help you understand what's available and implement the bits that will actually make a difference.
What happens to our emails and files during a migration?
Nothing gets deleted. We run migrations in a way that keeps your existing mailboxes and files fully accessible throughout. Once everything has transferred successfully and you've confirmed it looks right, we decommission the old environment. We test before, during and after.
Can you help us set up Copilot for Microsoft 365?
Yes. We help businesses get set up with Copilot, make sure the right licences are in place, and — importantly — make sure your data is structured in a way that Copilot can work with safely and usefully. There's no point turning it on if your files are disorganised or your permissions aren't set up correctly.
