No — and this is the most common misconception. Microsoft keeps your data available and provides some short-term retention, but it's not a backup. If you accidentally delete emails or files, or a user account is compromised, recovery isn't guaranteed. Independent backup is essential and is included across all ISS packages.
It depends on what your team needs. Most businesses with 5–50 people do well on Microsoft 365 Business Standard or Business Premium — Premium adds advanced security features that align well with Cyber Essentials. We'll review your current licences and tell you honestly if you're on the right plan or paying for things you don't need.
Yes. Whether you're moving from Google Workspace, an on-premises Exchange server or another email provider, we manage the migration cleanly from start to finish — with minimal disruption to your team. Email, files and configurations are all handled.
Not fully, no. Microsoft 365 out of the box has basic security settings, but many of the important protections — MFA, conditional access, secure email configuration, identity monitoring — need to be actively configured. This is a significant part of what we do, and it's aligned to the Cyber Essentials framework in our Protect package.
