IT Clarity and
Planning Review.
A structured, one-day review of your entire IT setup — what you've got, what it's costing you, what's at risk, and a clear roadmap for what to do next. Delivered as a written report with real insight, not a sales pitch.

Why does it cost money?
Because free means nothing. A free review gets a phone call, a sales presentation and a quote. A paid review gets a senior engineer spending a full day at your business, a structured methodology, and a written report that's worth reading whether you become a client or not.
The fee also ensures we're talking to businesses that are serious about their IT — which means the review itself is more productive for everyone.
The fee is deducted in full from your first three months of support if you choose to move forward with us. So if you do become a client, the review effectively costs you nothing.
A full picture of your IT.
In one clear report.
The IT Clarity and Planning Review covers everything a Quarterly Business Review covers — but as a standalone, one-off engagement. You get the insight without the ongoing commitment.
What you've actually got
A complete audit of your current IT estate — hardware, software, licences, users and devices. Many businesses are surprised by what they find. Licences being paid for people who left. Software running on machines nobody uses. We map it all out clearly.
What it's costing you
A breakdown of your current IT spend — visible and hidden. We often identify savings that more than cover the cost of the review itself. If you're overpaying for licences, running duplicate tools, or paying for services you don't need, we'll find them.
Where the risks are
An honest assessment of your security posture, compliance status and operational vulnerabilities. Not to alarm you — but to give you an accurate picture of where you're exposed and what the practical consequences of that could be.
A clear roadmap and budget
Prioritised recommendations with indicative costs and timescales. Not a vague list of improvements — a practical plan you could take to any IT provider and use as a brief. We tell you what to do first, what can wait, and roughly what it should cost.
From booking to report
in four steps.
The process is structured and efficient. We do the work, you get the answers — without weeks of back-and-forth.
Brief call
A short conversation to understand your business, your IT setup and what's most pressing. Helps us focus the review day in the right direction.
On-site review day
A senior ISS engineer spends a full day at your premises. We review your systems, talk to your team, and get a complete picture of your IT environment.
Written report
Within five working days, you receive a clear, jargon-free report covering everything we found — with prioritised recommendations and indicative costs.
Review meeting
We walk you through the report, answer your questions, and give you honest advice on next steps — whether that involves ISS or not.
This review is designed
for three situations.
You don't need to be having a crisis to benefit from this. Most of our clients find it useful as a way to get clarity and take back control.
"We're not sure what we've got"
You've grown, people have come and gone, and IT has evolved without a plan. You're paying for things you can't account for and not entirely sure what would happen if something went wrong. This review gives you clarity.
"We're thinking about changing IT provider"
Before you start talking to new suppliers, it helps to know independently what you've got and what you actually need. This review gives you an objective baseline — so you can evaluate proposals properly rather than just comparing prices.
"We need to plan and budget properly"
Your board, your FD or your investors want a clear IT plan and budget for the next 12–24 months. We give you the roadmap and indicative costs to make that conversation straightforward.
A report worth
keeping.
The IT Clarity and Planning Review isn't a sales document. It's a piece of work you can use — to plan, to budget, to brief other suppliers, or to hand to a new IT Director if you ever hire one.
It's written in plain English, structured clearly, and designed to be read by a business owner or senior manager, not just an IT professional.
We include honest observations, not just recommendations — including things that are working well, not just the things that need fixing.
Current estate inventory
Full list of hardware, software, licences, users and devices — with status and age where relevant.
IT spend breakdown
What you're paying, what it covers, and where you could reduce costs without compromising capability.
Risk and security assessment
Honest view of your vulnerabilities — operational, security, compliance — with a plain-English explanation of what each one means.
Prioritised recommendations
What to do now, what can wait, and what you should plan for. With indicative costs and timescales for each.
12–24 month roadmap
A forward-looking plan that aligns your IT investment with where your business is heading.

Book your reviewThings people ask
before booking.
No. The review is a standalone service. We'll give you an honest report and honest recommendations regardless of whether you end up working with us. If you decide ISS isn't the right fit, the report is still yours and still useful.
A full working day — typically 9am to 5pm. We'll need access to your key systems and ideally time with the people in your business who use IT the most. We'll agree the logistics in advance so it doesn't disrupt your team more than necessary.
We'll tell you. Clearly, without drama, and with practical guidance on what to do about it. We won't exaggerate risks to make ourselves seem indispensable — but we won't soften findings either. You need the truth, and that's what you'll get.
Simple. The full review fee is deducted equally across your first three months of support invoices. So if you paid £1,000 for the review and then start on our Core package, you'd pay £1,000 ÷ 3 = £333 less per month for the first three months.
This is actually one of the most common reasons people book the review. If you're questioning whether your current provider is doing a good job, or you're thinking about switching, having an independent assessment gives you an honest baseline. You can then make a properly informed decision rather than just taking a new supplier's word for it.
Yes — especially if you need to plan ahead or budget properly. A lot of IT issues don't announce themselves until they become problems. The review helps you get ahead of things, not just respond to them. It's also useful as a baseline for new leadership, investors or board reporting.
