Dark Web Scanning

Weekly checks across every domain you own — so if your team’s details end up somewhere they shouldn’t, you find out from us, not from a hacker.

Your team’s passwords could already be for sale online

Every time a website your staff use gets breached — and it happens constantly, to companies of every size — the email addresses and passwords involved often end up traded on the dark web. If someone on your team has ever reused a password, that leak isn’t just their problem. It’s a way in for someone to your business.

The trouble is, most businesses only find out once it’s already been used against them. We think that’s backwards. So we check first.

How It Works

1

We scan every domain you own

All the email addresses across your business domains are continuously checked against known dark web marketplaces, forums and breach dumps.

2

You get a report every week

No dashboards to log into or jargon to decode. Just a clear, plain-English report — either all-clear, or here’s what we found.

3

We flag what actually matters

Not every mention on the dark web is worth losing sleep over. We separate genuine risk from background noise, so you only act when it counts.

4

We help you close the gap

If something needs a password reset or MFA switched on, our helpdesk can sort it as part of your existing support — you don’t have to chase it yourself.

What’s In Your Report

Who’s exposed

Which users on your domains have appeared in a leak.

What was found

The type of data exposed — for example an email and password combination.

Where it came from

Which breach or source the data was traced back to, where known.

What to do about it

A plain-English risk rating and clear next step — no decoding required.

Part of building real cyber resilience

Dark web scanning is one piece of our PROTECT package — the tools and processes that get your business ready for Cyber Essentials and give you a genuinely more resilient setup.

On its own, it’s one report a week. Alongside the rest of PROTECT, it’s one less way for someone to walk straight into your business.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this included if we already have PROTECT?

Yes. Weekly dark web scanning is included as part of our PROTECT package, alongside the other tools that prepare your business for Cyber Essentials.

What happens if you find something?

You’ll get a clear report telling you exactly what was found and what it means. If action is needed — like resetting a password or turning on MFA — our helpdesk can handle it as part of your existing support.

Does this cover personal accounts too?

No — scanning covers the business domains you own, not personal email addresses. If a leaked business password is also used personally, that’s exactly the kind of overlap we’re trying to catch.

Where does the data come from?

We check known dark web marketplaces, hacking forums and breach dumps for any mention of your domains. Where a source is identifiable, we’ll tell you which breach it relates to.

Is this a one-off scan or ongoing?

Ongoing. Scanning runs continuously and you receive a fresh report every week, for as long as it’s part of your service with us.
